The KBC Rijeka has been equipped with new vital monitoring systems worth over 190,000 euros, funded by a donation from an anonymous benefactor and the Ministry of Health, KBC Rijeka reported.

The anonymous donor provides substantial monetary amounts to KBC every year, with the desire to express gratitude to KBC on behalf of himself and his family, and to contribute to the well-being of the regional community and its residents. This year, it was decided that the donated amount would be used to acquire this system valued at 37,220 euros.

Davor Gobić, Head of the Department for Intensive Cardiac Care, stated that the installation of the new vital function monitoring system is a significant step forward in the quality of treatment for the most critical patients, and it has also made the work of the Department's staff easier. The staff has been adequately trained to use the new system, and the initial experiences have been excellent, said Gobić.

"Thanks to the valuable donation from our traditional anonymous benefactor, as well as the support from the Ministry of Health, by directing financial resources to the area of greatest benefit for one of the most vulnerable groups of patients we care for, we have made an exceptional leap in the quality and safety of the healthcare we provide," emphasized Alen Ružić, Director of KBC Rijeka.
